Giannis obtained his Engineering Diploma and MSc from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Thessaly. In his MSc, he developed a robust precision landing subsystem for autonomous drones combining vision-based and infrared sensors. His research interests lie primarily in computer vision, machine learning, and optimal control for mobile robots. He is also interested in embedded and distributed systems and high-performance computing. Giannis is currently pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Engineering Systems at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
