Dimitris obtained his PhD degree (2009) from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Thessaly, Greece.

He primarily worries about datacenter interconnects and how they can be sustainably evolved to disaggregate the datacenter into fine-grained resource pools, under software-defined control. He is currently a senior ASIC engineer at NVIDIA and previously did a 4-year stint at IBM Research.
