Fluidity: Providing Flexible Deployment and Adaptation Policy Experimentation for Serverless and Distributed Applications Spanning cloud–edge–mobile environments
Foivos Pournaropoulos et al published a new paper titled “Fluidity: Providing Flexible Deployment and Adaptation Policy Experimentation for Serverless and Distributed Applications Spanning cloud–edge–mobile environments” in the Future Generation Computer Systems Journal.
The Fluidity framework monitors resource availability and the position of mobile nodes to adapt the deployment of the application accordingly, without any manual intervention from the application owner or system administrator. This research has been supported by the European Union under the MLSysOps project.
